I have been asked this question over and over and over again…

“What is the best way to get new bookkeeping clients?”

And every time, I have given the same answer:

“The best marketing strategy is being REALLY good at what you do.”

I continue to stand by this answer. However, this strategy only works with these three caveats:

  1. YOU know that you’re really good at what you do.

  2. Your clients CPAs know that you’re really good at what you do.

  3. Your CLIENTS know that you’re really good at what you do.

If you’re really good at what you do, but you lack the confidence to prove that to others…you won’t experience the same natural influx of new clients that you would otherwise.

So the real question is…how do you show other people (including yourself!) that you’re good at what you do?
